My name is Donna. I was born in Quebec. I have two amazing sons ages 23 and 27and I also have a little shih Tzu name Angel. I have 20 + years of experienced as a Nanny / Daycare provider Housekeeper. I have cared for children from New Born to 12 years of age. I have provided general day-to-day care for children including providing a daily organized program, nutritious meals and snacks, exercise and games, all within a caring, friendly, hygienic environment. Knowing the importance of exercise on child health I have always supported the childrens community involvement in Soccer, Hockey, dancing and swimming lessons as well as ensuring that they have daily outings to the park, library and indoor activities example ABC 123 Read, colour and making crafts. Part of my role has been assisting with toilet training, supporting language development, independent eating and development of appropriate manners. As part of my job I have taken children to French lessons and I have supported it 100 percent while they were in me care. I have assisted the younger children with reading and age-appropriate writing and drawing and supervised homework completion for the older children. When children have been sick I have cared for them and administered over-the-counter and prescription medications under the direction of their parents. I have experience with administering asthma medications via an air chamber and a nebulizer. When called upon I have provided irregular hour care by caring for one child overnight and over the weekend due to his parents schedule. I have a full drivers license and my own vehicle. I am an honest, caring, energetic and enthusiastic person. I Like to hiking, reading, cooking, biking, baking, etc. I love being outside and I frequently participate in cycling, walking and swimming. I enjoy a variety of arts and crafts and introductory baking. If you would like to get more information please contact me. Donna

I have been a Day Care provider for over 25 years. I have been a nanny to New Born to 12 years. Depending on the age of the children I would do different act. Some act would be going out the park, Library, ABC & 123 coloring sing song, swimming, skating and learn our manner . Making sure that they are having fun when Mom and Dad are at work and much more.

December 13, 2022 To whom it may concern: This letter is a personal reference letter for Donna Rodgers. Donna Rodgers was a caretaker of our two children from Sept 2001 to June 2012. Donna is still a very big part of their lives today. Today our children are 24 and 29 years of age. Our decision to place our girls in Donna’s care was that we wanted our children to be brought up in a bilingual environment. Donna was able to provide that care and the language we wanted. Through the years Donna has always been there for our girls and has attended many functions and always there for their pride accomplishments. Our girls have considered Donna to be a second mom. We are very proud of them and the respect they continue to show to Donna. Donna was not just a babysitter to them but also became a personal friend and family member to our family. There was many times when as parents because of work were not able to attend school or outside activities that we could call on Donna and she would be there to show the support our children needed. Donna brought up our girls like one of her own. She taught them the French language, respect of others and gave them the love and support of a parent when we were not there. We never had a concern if our children were in Donna’s care. Donna remains an important part of their lives and I know that will continue through the years. She is also there and we appreciate her very much. When Donna was looking after our children although it was an income for her we never looked at it that way. Being parents who both worked we wanted our girls to learn and socialize in other activities like skating, swimming, outdoor play. We appreciated that Donna made available in her daycare schedule to let our children participate in these programs. Donna never overbooked her daycare always making sure that the quantity of children allowed her to also take our kids and other daycare children to programs which we paid for that were during the day. Our children became well rounded and enjoyed the programs along with the other daycare children. We as parents know what ever position that Donna applies for the family will be very pleased with her caregiving, loving, supportive environment that she will be able to provide. Kind Regards The Firth’s
