I'm a university student currently looking for childcare job. I’m certified in Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C) and have completed a Vulnerable Sector Check. I’ve gained experience spending time with and caring for my younger cousins. I consider myself a patient, reliable, and outgoing person. I’m a big history buff and enjoy reading, watching films (I often recommend Anne of Green Gables, especially the 1985 version with Megan Follows), doing Zumba, and going on nature walks. Since elementary school, I’ve helped out with children in various ways, including volunteering as a safety patrol officer, lunchtime monitor, and tutor. I’ve also helped out at school events such as sports days and other activities. I learn quickly, can plan fun and engaging activities, keep spaces tidy, and am attentive, organized, and able to multitask. I enjoy creating a positive and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun.

I gained experience providing occasional babysitting, cared for my cousin’s children, and looked after a 2, 4, and 6 year old during the summer. I have done after-school care for a 5 and 9 year old, and I’m hoping to find additional childcare work. I’ve always worked with children younger than me, from elementary school to high school, through occasional babysitting, tutoring, volunteering at school events, and helping as a math and reading buddy. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills. I’m personable, caring, and genuinely enjoy working with kids. I’m also comfortable with pets and don’t mind taking care of them.
