My name is Cyannne, and it’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m a nurturing and energetic individual with a deep passion for working with children and families. With 6 years of childcare experience, I’m currently pursuing my E.C.E. diploma. Most recently, I’ve worked as an Assistant E.C.E. Teacher at an elementary school, where I’ve been able to nurture and guide children’s development in a structured learning environment. I’m available to start immediately and am looking for a full-time position. I was born in Canada and grew up in a large family with 7 siblings, where I took on a caregiving role from a young age. This taught me patience, responsibility, and the importance of supporting others. My personal aspirations include completing the first volume of my comic, selling my artwork, and eventually opening a daycare and resource center to assist parents and teenagers in need. Outside of childcare, I am a very active person who enjoys playing sports and even coaching children in various activities. I also have a keen interest in languages—I’m currently studying German and plan to learn Hindi and Dutch next. As a nanny, I bring a fun, loving, and engaging energy to your child’s daily routine. I tailor learning plans to suit each child’s unique needs, with a focus on educational growth. I like to do fun activities such as art, sports and games. I’ve worked with children with Autism, ADHD, and hearing impairments, and I’m experienced in supporting children with various special needs. In addition to childcare, I can assist with meal prep, cooking (and I’d love to learn to make your traditional dishes!), as well as cleaning and laundry. Westervelts Corners P.S., Co-op Teacher - September 2023 - January 2024. My role is to assist the teachers with any tasks that need to be done, as well as to manage the students and the classroom. I set up the classroom at the start of the day and take attendance. I am responsible for preparing students for lunch and playtime, as well as aiding in morning routine learning, which includes teaching the calendar, reading, and the activity of the day. I collaborate with other teachers to develop lessons and activities for the students. Childcare/Nanny - 2016 - 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing daily activities, preparing nutritious meals, assisting with homework, and ensuring the overall well-being and development of children. I supervise children throughout the day, ensuring they are safe, engaged, and happy. This includes feeding, dressing, and assisting with personal hygiene. I organize age-appropriate activities to foster learning and development, such as reading, arts and crafts, and educational games. I keep parents updated on the children’s activities and any issues that may arise.
