Anjitha J.
My name is Anjitha , and I am from Kerala, the southern part of India. Kerala is a beautiful place to live, filled with lush greenery, entertainment, and vibrant culture, which is why it is often called "God’s Own Country." I am currently pursuing the Personal Support Worker (PSW) course at Humber College because I have a deep passion for providing care and support to those in need. I am also eager to expand my knowledge in the healthcare field. I live in Canada with my husband. Canada has always been our dream destination, and we both deeply wished to come here. Now that we are finally in our dream place, we are truly enjoying the culture, climate, and everything this country has to offer. One of my biggest hobbies is cooking. I love trying out new dishes in my kitchen, and my husband and I enjoy spending our leisure time exploring different flavors and recipes together. My parents live in Kerala. My family includes my father, , who is a businessman, my mother, Deepa, who is a homemaker, my younger sister, and my grandmother. I miss my family a lot because we are far away. I always remember our good memories. Besides cooking, I also enjoy paper crafting, bottle crafting, and cloth stitching. In my free time, I engage in these activities. I also like listening to music while working, as it refreshes my mind and makes me happy.
I worked with children for about a year in my hometown. As part of my job, I got a chance to take care of some children aged around 2-5 years in a nursing home as part of their treatment.
