My name is Manuella and I’m a recent high school graduate. Growing up as an Egyptian-Canadian, I was able to learn and become fluent in English, Arabic, and French. I’m also starting to take up Italian and Japanese, as I love exploring new languages and cultures. From a young age, I’ve realized I’m a people person — I really enjoy connecting with others and making people happy. I’m known as someone who is caring, understanding, and patient, traits that are especially important working with children. Babysitting Experience (4 years in Brampton) • Cared for up to 3 children at a time, ensuring their safety, engagement, and well-being. • Organized fun and educational activities tailored to the children’s interests and needs. • Assisted with homework, meals, and bedtime routines. • Maintained a positive relationship with parents, providing regular updates on their children’s activities and progress. Summer Camp Counselor (3 summers in Brampton) • Supervised groups of up to 9 children, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment. • Planned and led engaging activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and group games. • Helped with lunch distribution and ensured children were hydrated and comfortable throughout the day. • Addressed conflicts and resolved issues effectively to maintain a happy and peaceful environment. • Created memorable experiences, including planning a camp-wide scavenger hunt that became a highlight for the kids :)
