I'm Victoria, a young, dynamic woman with 11 years of experience as a nanny. Born and raised in Canada from parents of Ukrainian descent, I have been surrounded by a large family of 13 siblings, which gave me a solid base to understand the importance of responsibility and family values. Being part of this boisterous setting inspired me to not only enjoy taking care of children, but also to manage a busy household.
Being fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, I can engage children in meaningful learning experiences. Comfortable with working with children of all ages from newborns to over 10 years old, I am skilled in various nanny duties ranging from cooking, housekeeping, grocery shopping, preparing meals for kids to doing the laundry, as well as educational ones such as helping with homework.
As an active, outdoorsy person, I love any sporty activity, especially volleyball and pickleball. My upbringing, devoid of electronics, has equipped me with the ability to keep children entertained through innovative and creative methods.
Although I reside in Edmonton and am unable to relocate, I can travel and have a valid driver's license, with a personal vehicle at my disposal for the job. Being a non-smoker who can swim well, I prioritise safety and strive to ensure a healthy environment around your children.
I'm looking predominantly for full-time, live-out nanny or nanny/housekeeper positions but I'm also open to babysitting gigs. I can comfortably handle up to three kids at a time, ensuring they get the required individual attention.
Starting with immediate availability, my schedule is quite flexible, covering mornings, afternoons, and evenings from Monday to Saturday.
My experience and my love for what I do shine through in everything I do, making me not just a nanny, but a valid and trustworthy extension of your family. Armed with a high school diploma and Canadian citizenship, I regret to mention I have not yet completed a police check.
Looking forward to potentially meeting you and your little ones!
I am a daughter from a family of 13, I’m fourth oldest so I have plenty of experience in babysitting, housekeeping, cooking, baking, etc. being part of a big family I had so many responsibilities but it became such an important part of my life and I love it. I’ve been taking care of my siblings, also babysat for other families before and am a very responsible person. Growing up babysitting all of my siblings taught me the importance of responsibility, patience, and staying calm under pressure. I learned how to manage routines, handle unexpected situations, and keep younger kids engaged in a safe and caring environment. These early experiences helped me develop strong communication and problem-solving skills, which I now bring to every babysitting job. Being a dependable and trustworthy caregiver has become second nature to me.
