Ekko B.
My name is Ekko, an upbeat and patient psychology student from Campus St. Jean. I bring a lots of energy and creativity that instantly help me connect with children and I love connecting with them in a meaningful way. I love running, cooking, and baking during my spare time. With two rewarding years of hands-on experience in childcare, I have honed my leadership skills and my knack for setting up a positive, secured, encouraging space that contributes to the all-round development of your little one(s). Currently, I am located in Beaumont but am able to travel to long distances since I do hold a driver's license and own a vehicle. Being a non-smoker, I also have proficiency in swimming and am capable of ensuring your child's safety near water bodies. The services I offer are inclusive of, yet not limited to: cooking, light housekeeping, running errands, grocery shopping, preparing meals for the kids, transporting children, doing children's laundry, ironing their clothes, bathing and dressing, helping with homework, dietary assistance, keeping the kitchen tidy, and even pet care. Moreover, I am open to working part-time, preferably in a Live-Out arrangement. I'm comfortable assisting a maximum of two children who fall anywhere within the 1-10 years age bracket. In a nutshell, my priority would be to ensure a stable, stimulating environment that caters to your child’s emotional, cognitive, and physical growth whilst relieving parents of stress. I do hold recognition for first aid and CPR training, and have successfully cleared police check. Although a proud French Canadian, I fluently converse in English and German as well. My active availability ranges from weekday evenings and anytime from the crack of dawn to twilight during the weekends. Should our expectations align, I am available to start immediately. Looking forward to the prospect of guiding your little stars through the joys and challenges of growing up!
I have several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings. I started with babysitting, where I cared for children of different ages and managed daily routines like meals, bedtime, and playtime. I’ve also supported kids with their reading, helping to build their literacy skills through one-on-one and small group activities. Additionally, I spent two summers as a camp counselor, where I led activities, ensured camper safety, and helped create a fun and supportive environment for kids.
