I am a friendly, outgoing, and curious person who enjoys making the people around me feel comfortable and welcomed. I love reading, swimming, discovering new things, and spending quality time with family and friends. I am someone who enjoys staying active and keeping busy, but I also appreciate quiet moments and learning from new experiences. I would describe myself as patient, positive, responsible, and open-minded, and I am always willing to step outside of my comfort zone and learn something new. I value kindness, respect, honesty, and good communication, and I believe that my positive attitude and willingness to learn allow me to connect easily with people of different ages and personalities. I am excited to continue growing personally and professionally while gaining new experiences and building meaningful connections with the families I work with.

I have approximately 6 years of hands-on childcare experience caring for children of different ages, including my younger siblings, my 17-month-old cousin, and other children in my family and community. Caring for my younger siblings from a young age taught me responsibility, patience, organization, and how to respond to children’s individual needs. I currently care for my 17-month-old cousin and have also cared for other children. I genuinely love being around children and enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them. I am comfortable preparing meals and snacks, playing with children, keeping them entertained, helping with their routines, and ensuring they are safe and comfortable. I am also comfortable with household responsibilities such as cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, laundry, and keeping the home and children’s spaces organized. I understand the importance of maintaining a clean and safe environment while caring for children. I am CPR-C certified and take children’s safety and well-being very seriously. I am passionate about working with children and plan to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse. My childcare experience has strengthened my patience, compassion, communication, and ability to care for children, and I hope to continue developing these qualities through my future education and experience. I would treat every child in my care with kindness, patience, respect, and genuine attention while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in safe and caring hands.
