My name is Sonya and I am currently seeking either a full or part-time, live-out nanny position. As a devoted Early Childhood Educator with over 15 years of experience, I have cared for children from newborns up to 12 years old in various settings including daycare centres, my own licensed home daycare, and most recently, as a nanny. One of my greatest joys in life is working with children and assisting in their development into kind, responsible, and respectful individuals. I aim to achieve this through the implementation of age-appropriate, play-based learning strategies, engaging storytelling and one on one reading sessions. I also have a collection of puzzles, story books and educational toys that I can share with your child, with your permission. I will also provide you with a letter from Durham Children's Aid Society (CAS), which clearly states that no complaints have ever been registered or filed against me for abuse or neglect of children in all the years that I have worked as a childcare provider. I will also provide references from parents that I have worked with in the past. In addition, upon your request, I can also provide a receipt for child-care services, for income tax purposes, to allow you to take advantage of the Ontario Child Care Tax Credit. I am available throughout the week, and I have a driver's license as well as my own vehicle for any required on-the-job usage. I do not smoke and am comfortable around pets. In my free time, I find peace in reading, watching movies, and crafting unique jewelry. In addition to these activities, I also enjoy playing tennis with friends and taking daily neighbourhood strolls.
