My name is Maia and I am just finishing up my first year of University at the University of Toronto. I am 18 going on 19 and I aspire to have a career in working with children. I am an older sister and have always been responsible for caring for my younger my brother. I enjoy helping people, spending times with friends and family, reading and swimming. I have worked with kids before as a co-op student in a grade 4 French immersion class, a camp consoler, tutoring and babysitting my younger cousins. I would love to get the opportunity to work with and care for your kids. I am hoping that I can make your lives easier while also forming a bond with your children.

From a young age I was responsible for taking care of my younger brother. I would bring him home from school, made him something to eat and made sure he did all his duties before my parents got home. As I got older in the past 3 years I have been caring for my 4 year old little cousin. I make him food, play games with him, bath him, read to him and put him to sleep. Besides caring for my younger relatives, for the past 2 years I have been tutoring students in the community in French, so I am able to work with other children.
