We are seeking a caring, reliable, and organised nanny to support our family on weekdays. The role involves looking after our three children, aged 4, 5, and 8, in a warm and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate speaks either English or French and enjoys becoming a trusted part of a family’s daily life. Location: Westmount, Montreal Schedule: Part-time, less than 20 hours per week Working Hours: Primarily weekday afternoons and evenings (approximately 2.5 to 3 hours per day), with occasional mornings before school as needed. Key Responsibilities Afternoon and Evening Duties Pick up the children from school and daycare at approximately 4:45 pm. On Fridays, pick up the girls at 3:45 pm and accompany them to their ballet class. Supervise playtime and assist with homework. Prepare and serve dinner for the children. Support evening routines, including baths, teeth brushing, and getting ready for bed. Prepare snacks and school items for the following day. Maintain a clean and tidy environment by helping clean the kitchen after dinner. Encourage and assist the children in tidying up their toys and belongings. Organise school bags, jackets, and shoes, and set aside any school communications. Occasionally babysit in the evening - if we have events to attend. - to be agreed upon beforehand Occasional Morning Duties (as needed) Wake the children at 7:15 am and help them get ready for school. Prepare breakfast and ensure school bags are packed, including snacks and spare clothing. Tidy the children’s rooms. Walk the children to school and/or daycare by 8:00 am. Clean up the kitchen after breakfast. Ideal Candidate Profile Warm, responsible, and dependable. Experienced in childcare with strong references. Fluent in English or French. Organised, proactive, and attentive to detail. Comfortable assisting with homework and managing daily routines. Values cleanliness and helps maintain a tidy home. Able to commit to a consistent weekday schedule with occasional flexibility. Eligible to work in Canada. Summary of Duties Childcare and supervision. School pick-ups and occasional drop-offs.
