Job Description We are looking for a childcare provider to take care of our children due to the health condition of a parent. Address and Work location: Westmount, QC H3Y 2S5, Title Private Home Child Care Provider Duties: • Supervise and care for the child at our residence. • Plan and oversee the child’s activities as instructed. • Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development • Prepare and serve meals for the child. • Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence. • Take responsibility for the household during parents’ absence • Organize activities such as games and outings for the child. • Prepare child for rest periods • Clean and maintain the house as needed. • Other related tasks. Required Skills • Have completed a secondary school diploma attesting at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education or • have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school OR • 1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer or a vocational training of at least 6 months as a caregiver Qualifications: • Be reliable and punctual • Show initiative • Have good judgement • Have excellent organizational skills Language Requirement: Knowledge of English (oral) Employment conditions, salary and hours Salary of $17.88 an hour for 40 hours per week Monday – Friday from 7am to 11am and from 3pm to 7pm How to apply: Send your curriculum vitae along with your cover letter to the attention of: amandaross9660ATgmailDOTcom Social Advantages: • 10 days of vacation per year as per Quebec .
