I am a mother to four wonderful, energetic young children (a seven-year-old, a six-year-old, and three-year-old twins). I am currently in search of a part-time babysitter who would be available on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) to actively engage with my little ones, help them out with their homework, take them to their scheduled activities and carry out some meal prep actions for them. The babysitter would be required in the mornings and in the middle of days of these weekends. The successful candidate must possess a driver's license, have their own car for transportation and must be comfortable with occasionally using our car as well. An essential part of this role is the ability to swim, since supervising young children during their swimming activities would be required. A love for children, bilingual abilities and a sense of responsibility are the bedrocks of this part-time babysitting role. I expect the babysitter to engage my kids in educational play, hold engaging conversations with them, enforce discipline when required and take responsibility for transporting them to and from activities. The candidate must also be able to watch over two kids at a time. This role does offer a distinct possibility for expanding the working hours to include after-school periods from 3-7pm in the spring and the summer if so desired. The position is a live-out and part-time arrangement and would involve less than 20 hours per week.
