Looking for full time live-out support worker for newborn with medical needs
We live in West Vancouver and are looking for a full time, live-out support worker for our daughter starting mid/late August onwards. Our daughter is currently 3.5 months old, and has a medical condition that prevented her lungs from fully developing. She is still in the NICU recovering, however we are hoping to be home in the month of June. We expect our daughter will come home with a feeding tube and breathing support. We will need a caregiver who can be trained on administering feeds via the tube, in addition to helping her develop as a normal baby! She will be high risk for contacting illnesses in her first two years of life so we will need to self-monitor our own health in order to protect her from getting a respiratory illness. We are looking for someone to take care of our beautiful little girl Monday through Friday during the daytime, who is dedicated to helping her develop and grow. If you are interested in working with us, we’d love to talk to you. Would be great to have help with light housekeeping, comfortable around dogs (we have two!), and experience with babies. Bachelors in early childhood education or nursing degree required We will only consider candidates who have first aid training.
