I have 5 year old twin daughters who understand (very little) Mandarin, (beginner level) Japanese, (beginner level) French and (moderate) English. They are potty trained, and quite independent. WE ONLY NEED A NANNY WHO SPEAKS MANDARIN OR JAPANESE OR FRENCH - because we want our daughters to continue learning Mandarin/Japanese/French through the nanny. I am looking for a child care provider to come to our home in West Vancouver, BC. We are accessible by bus. We need the nanny to help tidy up, fold laundry, prep meals, and help with the nighttime routine. Parents are professionals working in Finance & the Pharmaceutical industry. The nanny will need to clean up play area, fold the twins' laundry, prepare the twins' meals, and organize games and activities. Most Importantly, we kindly ask for all communication (between nanny and the girls) be in Mandarin or Japanese; so they can continue learning the language. Looking for someone who can be flexible with hours and come to the house approx 9am-1pm most days with about half of the days in the afternoon, some weekends. Cooking and Cleaning and assisting around the house are at least as important as childcare. Making meals, laundry and housework. Looking for a nanny to transport my kids to and from school every second week. You would arrive at my place at 5:45AM as I need to leave for work at 6AM. You would be driving my daughter (7) to elementary by 9am, and my son (3) to preschool after that. I'm seeking a loving and responsible nanny for my delightful 3.5-year-old daughter. This part-time position would require you to look after her for two afternoons each week, specifically in the middle of the day on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the school year, you'd need to pick her up from school at 11:25, with her care continuing until my work ends around 4:30. During the summer, when she'll likely be attending a morning camp, the pick-up location might change. I work from home, so it would be best if you could keep her busy outside our house for the majority of this time. Engaging in outdoor play or planned activities would be ideal, but there's also the option for some at-home interaction. I'm looking for a nanny who can not only transport my daughter to and from school and other activities but also potentially prepare snacks. As she has a peanut allergy, it's crucial for you to prepare and serve food with an abundance of caution. She had never required the use of an epi-pen this far, but she does carry one with her and you would have to feel comfortable using it in the unlikely case of an emergency. Training with the epi-pen would of course be provided. The position requires a valid driver's license, and don't worry about the car – we can provide one for you to use on the job. Right now, we're looking for someone who lives outside of our home (Live-Out), and ideally, the person can start working immediately. This is a perfect opportunity if you cherish spending time with children, particularly those aged between 3-5 years, and want less than 20 hours of work per week.
