my name is Christie. About my family: We are a family of four with 2 kids (and two senior dogs!) myself and my husband. We are looking for a part time nanny starting now. Eddie is our 3yo boy, he will be going to GNS/First Steps in the fall and we need someone to pick him up from school at 11:15 2-3 days week, bring him home (or out on adventures) and care for him until 5pm. We also have a daughter, Maggie who is 5yo, who will be in kindergarten at GNS in the fall - there could be potential for helping out picking up Maggie, helping out with Maggie's care occasionally. What we are looking for: Part time - 2-3 days a week 11:15 - 5pm. Maybe moving to full time in the new year. We're hoping our child carer will be extremely loving, fun and meld into our family dynamic. We are fun but we are active and busy - and need have someone who can handle a busy and active child. Preference for someone who has worked with Toddlers before, has experience with Toddler development. Especially when we have big feelings with hitting, or outburts. Hoping we could also have someone who does light housework eg. folding and putting away laundry and tidy toys and kitchen. We are hoping to have someone who can be active and loving with out little boy - so he can feel cared for and supported in his growth. Driving is a bonus! Eddie has swimming on Wednesdays.
