Looking for a wonderful opportunity to work with a young family? We are in immediate need of a loving and nurturing Caregiver/Housekeeper. This is an exciting chance for someone who loves children and is passionate about supporting busy households. Commencing immediately, this contract role is based in West Woodbridge, Vaughan - York Region and involves the tender care of our adorable toddler and efficient housekeeping duties. Ideally, you'll be available for two to three days a week, but we are hoping to eventually extend this to four days. The shifts will mostly take place on weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm and range from four to six hours. There is room for some flexibility in the schedule. Your typical day will involve various housekeeping duties like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, simple meal prep and, of course, caring for and engaging with our toddler. Despite being at home most of the time, the professional Mom of the household could really use an extra pair of hands! We do not have any pets and there is no driving requirement for the position. Applicants should have at least a secondary school graduation certificate and at least two years of relevant experience backed with verifiable references. ECE educational background, First Aid Certificate, and CPR training will be of significant advantage. Please note that candidates need to be legal to work in Canada as we can't sponsor at this time, and will need to pass a criminal record check. Above all, we are looking for someone who is punctual, detail-oriented, experienced with home caretaking, and housekeeping chores on a professional level. We highly value the ability to multitask, sound judgment, and a gentle demeanor suitable for our young one. The pay varies from $18.00-$22.00 per hour, in line with your level of experience. You can expect to work for 8 – 20 hours per week. Other benefits include casual dress code, a flexible schedule, and available on-site parking.
