We are seeking a responsible and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide attentive care for our child in a private household. Duties • Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the child • Feed, bathe, dress, and assist with daily routines • Prepare meals primarily for the child and assist with family’s daily routines • Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities • Support emotional, social, and physical development • Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to childcare • Drive for childcare-related or household purposes • Communicate with parents regarding the child’s care and activities Employment Requirements • Secondary school diploma or equivalent • Experience caring for children in a home setting • Valid First Aid / CPR (or willingness to obtain) • Clear criminal record check required • Valid driver’s licence for childcare-related transportation as an asset Terms of Employment • $20.00/hour, paid through payroll • Vacation entitlement per BC Employment Standards (4% vacation pay) • CPP, EI deductions and WorkSafeBC coverage provided • Live-in accommodation available if requested
