We are a private family residing near downtown Vancouver, seeking an experienced and dedicated nanny for our young child who is 6-9 years old. This part-time position is on a on-call basis. It will mostly comprise of a split shift during school days Monday-Friday and mostly all-day during weekends as needed. The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and should be able to provide referrals from previous families and background check. The nanny's duties will be a blend of childcare and domestic work. This includes preparing morning meals for the child, packing lunch for school, light housekeeping (primarily the child's room and kitchen), and occasional children's laundry. We'd also appreciate assistance with homework and maintaining our special dietary rules. Driving is not a requirement for this role as the family car won't be provided for use; this is specifically a live-out position. The unquestionable reliability is essential, as you will be on-call to adjust in accordance to the child's school schedule when needed.
