My family is seeking a nanny starting mid-April. We have two daughters ages 1 and 2. We are ideally looking for 2 days a week permanent (Thursday + Friday). For the month of May we would also need childcare on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are located in Mt Pleasant and are very happy to do a nanny share if it works out. About our children: Ivy is 2 years old and loves being outdoors (rain or shine) and playing on the swings. She also loves any open playtime or gyms and Science World. She is very sweet natured and happy to share her treats with any new friends she makes along the way. She naps in the afternoon for 2-2.5 hours and eats just about anything. Our second child Ruby will be 1 at the end of April. She has proven to be a very easy going baby. She loves smiling at anyone who walks by and is obsessed with her big sister. Ruby naps twice a day (short nap in the morning longer nap in the afternoon). Both girls are fine to nap in a pack and play crib. About You: We are looking for a dedicated child care provider that is available Thursday and Friday, roughly 8am - 5pm. You have experience caring for multiple children. You enjoy engaging the kids by taking them outside, going to the library, open playtime and other kid friendly places. You can prepare meals for the kids and put them down for naps. You’ll clean up after the kids, and time permitting, you’ll help with other light household duties. You are legally allowed to work in Canada (you have a SIN), and are non-smoking. CPR and First Aid is an asset.
