Professional family in North York seeking a reliable and caring childcare provider for occasional backup childcare support when children are home sick from daycare/school or during schedule disruptions. This is not a full-time role and hours are not guaranteed weekly. We are looking to build a relationship with someone dependable who may be available on an occasional/on-call basis during weekdays to watch either one or both kids as the occasion requires. Children: • 6-year-old • Infant/toddler Typical responsibilities: • Caring for child at home during illness • Meals/snacks • Play and quiet activities • Nap support • Light tidying related to children • Following parent instructions and routines Ideal candidate: • Warm, calm, and dependable • Experience with young children • Comfortable caring for mildly sick children • Flexible weekday availability is an asset • CPR/First Aid/Police Background Check preferred Located in the Yonge/Shepherd area.
