We’re a busy, easygoing family looking for a reliable, caring part-time nanny/housekeeper to help keep our afternoons running smoothly. We have two great boys, ages 6 and 9, who are active, sporty, and full of energy (especially when it comes to soccer ⚽). Ideal Schedule (with some flexibility) • Weekdays: 3:00–7:00pm • Saturdays: 5:00–11:00pm • Flexible to work 4-5 days a week if needed • Occasional extra hours when one of us is traveling for work • Hopefully the ability to do a few overnights ad hoc (max 5-7 days of the year, we have a separate lockable nanny ensuite available) • We can also offer some vacation weeks over the summer and during the winter holiday break What the role looks like • Pick up the kids from school around 3:15pm • Help with after-school routines and activities • Kids’ laundry • Kids’ meal prep (mostly reheating, not cooking) • House cleaning (this is negotiable, I do believe cleaning the house is a job in itself) • Keep the kitchen clean and organized • Take out garbage, recycling, and compost to bins in the garage • Help with school PA days, after-school activities, and occasional playdates (Uber or use of a car can be arranged if you have a driver’s license) How we like things done We’re big on helping our kids learn responsibility. That means we’re looking for someone who will guide and encourage the boys to clean up after themselves, put their own dishes in the dishwasher, and take ownership of small daily tasks — rather than doing everything for them. About our kids • Two boys aged 6 and 9 (soon to be 7 and 10) • They love sports, especially soccer • We try to be screen-light and want someone who enjoys helping kids find creative, active, ways to entertain themselves • They do well with structure and accountability • We do not mind discipline if they are not listening to the adult in the room Who you might be • Warm, dependable, and comfortable setting boundaries • Enjoys being active and engaged with kids • Flexible and can adapt when the usual schedule changes if needed on the odd occasion • Enjoys playing sports with the kids is a big plus
