The ideal candidate will be nurturing, dependable, and experienced in working with children of various ages. The position requires flexibility, patience, and excellent communication skills to foster a supportive environment for children to thrive. ****Spanish (fully bilingual English/ Spanish) is an asset**** *Responsibilities May Include* -Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development -Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs -Assist with homework, teaching basic educational concepts, and encouraging curiosity -Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning tasks related to children’s areas -Follow family routines and schedules for naps, playtime, meals, and bedtime -Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns -Ensure children's safety at all times by monitoring their activities both indoors and outdoors -Drop off and pickup from school/ daycare *Skills* -Experience working with children across different age groups -Proficiency in meal preparation and cooking for children’s dietary requirements -Strong caregiving skills combined with a nurturing attitude -Ability to teach basic skills, foster creativity, and encourage positive behavior -Good cleaning skills to maintain a tidy play area and living space -Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and children -Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for childcare *Schedule* -Mon- Fri 7-3. It will be 40-50 hours per week, with extra compensation for overtime hours. Candidates who can also work on Sundays when needed, will be given priority. -We travel for work from time to time, so flexibility to travel and a valid passport are an asset. -Salary negotiable.
