We are seeking someone with an energetic spirit and loving heart to look after our three lively boys - ages 8, 6, and 3. The ideal candidate would appreciate the endless energy of little boys and loves to engage with them. This could involve participating in board games, sports and a wide range of activities, as my kids are used to constant engagement and a playmate-babysitter would definitely win them over. They also love music - we have a piano and if you could get them to sit with you and learn how to play, that would be wonderful; they love to sing too, especially our three year-old who loves church hymns. The position open immediately offers part-time hours, with a requirement of less than 10 hours a week. We are looking for someone who can come for the occasional evening and/or weekend. We are new to the idea of having a babysitter so are looking for someone who is on-call while we figure our what a schedule might look like. The ideal candidate is not required to hold a driver's license nor provide automobile use - there's lots to do around the house and the park/school is right across the road. This live-out position is perfect for someone with a patient but assertive disposition, who enjoys robust convos with kids. Being a Catholic family, we would consider it a bonus if you share our faith. However, this is not a strict requirement and we would welcome anyone who has faith in God. Building a safe, fun, and respectful environment is crucial in this position.
