We are a warm and loving family expecting our first child in April, and we’re looking for a caring, experienced, and reliable live-in nanny to join our home. This is a long-term, full-time position with responsibilities that will evolve as our family grows. About the Role: The ideal candidate will provide newborn care and support, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for our baby. Over time, as our child grows, the role will expand to include light housekeeping duties and assistance with household management. We are looking for someone who will become an integral part of our family, helping to maintain a well-organized home while providing attentive and loving care. Responsibilities: Childcare Duties: Full-time care for our newborn, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and maintaining a sleep routine Engaging in age-appropriate activities for early development Monitoring the baby’s well-being and communicating updates to parents Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment Household Duties: Baby-related laundry, bottle sterilization, and tidying nursery space General household laundry, cleaning, and organization Meal prep and occasional cooking assistance Running errands as needed Maintaining an orderly and clean home Other Responsibilities (as needed in the future): Traveling (2 hrs away from Toronto) with the family on occasion on weekends Household management Babysitting in evenings Ideal Candidate: Experienced in newborn and infant care (minimum 3 years preferred) CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Comfortable with housekeeping duties and managing household tasks Trustworthy, warm, and reliable with a strong work ethic Flexible, adaptable, and able to take initiative Holds a valid driver’s license (not required) Legally able to work in Canada (or willing to be sponsored) Fully vaccinated for flu, Tdap, and COVID-19 (preferred)
