We are looking for the perfect nanny for our autistic 7 yr old daughter . I just got a new job recently and I'm unsure of hours and days that would be required but I will know my schedule a month in advance so we will be able to coordinate . However we will need someone with flexibility on days and hours required . We have 7 animals in our home as well so someone that likes animals is a necessity as well . Your duties while here in our home with her will include - playing with her and coming up with creative ideas to entertain her - making snacks / meals - bathing her - getting her ready for and into bed - tidying up after any messes she makes and cleaning her room before she goes to bed ( she can help with this a bit ) Someone with experience with children with autism is strongly preferred as she does require a very special kind of caregiver . Someone that's very upbeat and high energy with lots of enthusiasm will do great . Patience, understanding and compassion are also key . We are currently offering $15.50 per hour and are willing to cover a monthly transit pass for the right candidate if transit is required .
