I am a mother with two children. One is almost 3 and the other just turned 1. We need someone energetic as my little ones are active and we are often out in the community. We have 3 very friendly cats so it's important to like cats. What is most important is that you are reliable, caring and patient. While boundaries are important, my kids do best with gentle guidance - rather than strict and stern. I am a single mom with a lot going on in life and a kind and compassionate child minder is important for me as well. We want to bring someone into our little family who will develop a relationship with my children as we would like to have just one child minder who comes - rather than several.
