Full-Time Nanny / Household Manager- Located in Île des Sœurs (Nuns’ Island) Live-in or Live-out | Monday–Friday | Occasional Weekends We are a warm busy family on Île des Sœurs seeking a full-time Nanny / Household Manager to support our home and care for our two children, a newborn and a 3 year old. We are looking for someone with positive energy, a great attitude, and the ability to take initiative. Someone who can care for the children when needed, and clean and maintain the entire home when the children are in daycare, napping, or not requiring direct care. The ideal candidate enjoys helping a household run smoothly, anticipates needs, and brings calm, confidence, and warmth into the home. Primary Responsibilities- Childcare Newborn Care (minimal at the moment as she is very young) • Supporting daily routines • Assisting with feeding, changing, soothing • Helping maintain a calm and nurturing environment 3 Year Old (attends daycare) • Morning childcare before daycare (breakfast, getting dressed, light routines) • Afternoon/evening childcare after daycare • Engaging, age-appropriate play and activities • Simple child-friendly meal and snack preparation • Supporting daily structure and routines General Childcare Expectations • Creating a safe, warm, and positive atmosphere • Managing transitions, routines, and consistency • Communicating clearly with parents throughout the day Secondary Responsibilities- Household Support & Cleaning • Cleaning and maintaining the entire home when not caring for the children • Daily upkeep: tidying, organizing, kitchen cleaning, play areas, light housekeeping • Family laundry (washing, folding, organizing) • Maintaining a clean, orderly environment throughout the day • Taking initiative to see what needs to be done without being asked • Occasionally supporting deeper cleaning or organization projects This role is balanced: childcare first, with home cleaning and organization during the times when the children are not actively with you. Requirements • Experience with newborns and young children • Strong housekeeping/organization skills • Positive attitude, warm energy, and proactive mindset • Takes initiative and thinks one step ahead • Trustworthy, patient, and nurturing • Must speak English (French is a plus) • Legally able to work in Canada • Comfortable with a small dog Additional (Not required but appreciated) • CPR/First Aid • Experience as a household manager or live-in nanny • Flexibility for occasional weekends • Strong communication skills Location Île des Sœurs (Nuns’ Island), Montreal.
