I am currently in need of a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to help with my 4yo toddler, in the capacity of a part-time, live-out role. The position involves providing him before and after school care from Monday to Friday, specifically in mornings and evenings. Key responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to preparing meals for my little one, including adhering to any specific dietary requirements he may have. Not only will you be expected to help transport him to and from school, but you will also assist with bathing and dressing him each day. Other duties will involve light housekeeping duties and cooking. An important aspect of this role is the educational support you will provide. So, keeping him engaged and providing assistance with his homework, when necessary, is part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate must also possess a valid driver's license and be prepared to use her own car. The automobile use is required for the transportation part of the job, as you would be picking up and dropping the child off from school. Please note that the nanny who will join our family will be working less than 20 hours per week, primarily focusing on caring for him during before and after school hours. We also have a 10 year old senior dog that will occasionally need letting out. My wife and I work early shifts. When our shifts are on the same days we need someone to come over at 5:30am when we leave for work. Our son wakes up around 7:00am and needs to be dressed, fed, and brought to daycare between 7:30 and 8:00. Not expected to clean or do any housework. We do have a friendly medium sized dog. We would prefer someone who has their own transportation. Schedule will be sporadic, could be any weekdays 2-3 times per week. We know our schedules well ahead of time, so we can provide a schedule with lots of notice.

With work schedules on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, the role involves three-four shifts per week. However, shifts may vary occasionally due to our work demands and vacations. The work hours are less than 20 hours per week, making this position ideal for a student or someone whose work day starts a bit later and is looking to earn some extra income. Start time would be 7:00am and the boys go on the bus at 8:40am. As a nanny, your primary task will be to facilitate a relaxing morning routine. This involves ensuring the children have their breakfast upon your arrival and spend the time leisurely until they need to catch their bus for school. Additionally, you will be required to pack their lunch into their backpacks. The school bus picks them up right from the end of our driveway.
