Job Description We are a working family looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny / personal support worker (PSW) to provide on-call childcare support for our toddler starting daycare. This role is primarily for January to May : Child’s sick days (cold, fever, daycare exclusions) Daycare closures or emergencies Occasional short-notice support when both parents are working Both parents are professionals, and we value dependability, communication, and genuine care for our child. Responsibilities Provide attentive, safe, and nurturing care for a toddler at home Monitor health and comfort during mild illness (medication as instructed) Prepare simple meals/snacks for the child if required Maintain a clean and safe environment related to the child’s activities Follow routines provided by parents (sleep, meals, play) Requirements Prior experience caring for infants/toddlers Comfortable caring for a child during illness Responsible, patient, and trustworthy Flexible availability and responsive on short notice Current references required CPR/First Aid certification preferred Police verification Schedule & Pay Flexible hours based on need Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed) Location In-home care (family residence) Additional Notes We already have meal support at home and a calm, respectful working environment.
