We are seeking two (2) nannies: a full-time, permanent, live-out nanny and also a part-time, permanent live-out nanny for our 1-year-old and 3-year-old daughters effective for September 8, 2026. Our 3-year-old daughter is attending preschool at the Bilingual French / English Glebe Montessori School from 8AM to 330PM Monday to Friday starting September 2026. We are located at Kochar Drive, Ottawa, off of Prince of Wales. Close to the Hogs back / Prince of Wales intersection. The bus stop is about a 10-minute walk from our home. Payment terms to be discussed. As both parents work from home and employ other full-time help we are very flexible on your schedule. We would like a full-time person who can work 40+ to 45+ hours per week and a part-time person who can work 20+ to 25+ hours per week. By way of an example only: full-time nanny could be 5 or 6 days at 7AM to 2PM, or 5 or 6 days at Noon to 8PM. By example only, the part-time nanny can be weekends – 7AM to late evening or 3 other days a week, or evenings only. We are very flexible, provided it works with our other employed help. The nanny would be expected to fully care for the 1-year-old – e.g., play, change, clean, feed, put-to-sleep, teach, speak, educate, wash baby with a parent, etc… Also, the nanny would care for the 3-year-old, when she is not at school. The at home work-space is large about 1, 500++ square feet of open concept living and play space for the children. Fully equipped with all play, safety, sleeping requirements for the children. There is no major preparation of meals. Except minor meal preparation such as mixing cereals, cleaning and cutting fruit, cleaning and cutting vegetables, toasting bread, and/ or heating / reheating existing meals and drinks. There is no major cleaning, except washing all baby bottles, placing dishes in the dishwasher, placing soiled clothes in clothes washer, clean all your workspaces and babies work/ play spaces. We follow a clean as you use it approach, understanding babies always come first over cleaning. As we work from home 1 or 2 parents will always be present and will assist in the above as required. Preference is given to a person with a second language, an ECE, or similar degree in early childhood, First Aid, references, and with experience. Please send a CV / resume with references.
