Duties: - Teach and foster independence skills in home-based (cooking, cleaning, hygiene) and community areas (finance, shopping, public transit). - Model social behavior, assist in engaging others for wholesome relationship building. - Supervise in scheduled programs, including transportation. - Attend goal-based and clinical meetings occasionally. Requirements: This role suits a dependable, creative and experience-filled individual with strong communication and assertiveness for rule enforcement. Additional expectations include: - Commitment of minimum 1 year - Constant learning adaptability - Valid driver’s license, daily vehicle access (preferred) - Participating in recreational activities (hiking, frisbee, swimming, etc.) - Establish and maintain compassionate and appropriate boundaries - Initiative to advocate for optimal programming.
