**Job Title:** Full-Time Live-Out Nanny & Household Helper **Location:** Westboro Beach, Ottawa, ON **Schedule:** 30–35 hours per week (flexible, may include weekends) **Start Date:** As soon as possible (initial part-time trial; full-time to begin after maternity leave ends) --- ### **Job Summary:** We are a warm and caring family in Westboro Beach, Ottawa, ON, looking for a live-out nanny to care for our newborn and assist with light household cleaning and meal preparation. The newborn was only 1 month old (as of May 2025). This position will begin **as a part-time role** for a trial period, with a gradual transition to **full-time (30–35 hours/week)** once maternity leave ends (estimated October 2025). The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable, and comfortable working with infants and around a family household. **Flexibility is essential**, as some weekend hours may be required. --- ### **Key Responsibilities:** **Childcare Duties:** - Provide loving and attentive care for a newborn - Follow feeding, sleep, bath and diaper routines - Support the baby’s development with age-appropriate activities - Keep baby-related items clean and organized (e.g., bottles, toys, clothes) **Household Duties:** - Light cleaning (kitchen, bathroom, vacuuming, tidying common areas) - Laundry (including baby clothes) - Light meal preparation or basic cooking as needed - Maintain a neat and organized home environment --- ### **Requirements:** - Experience caring for infants (newborn experience strongly preferred) - Availability for a part-time trial with a transition to full-time - Flexible schedule, including some weekends - Must be a **live-out** nanny - Legal to work in Canada - CPR and First Aid certified - Non-smoker - Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy - Minimum 2 job referrals from prior clients - Comfortable with monitoring cameras --- ### **Preferred Qualifications:** - Background in childcare or early childhood education - Strong communication skills - Ability to work independently while following family guidance --- ### **Compensation:** - Competitive hourly wage based on experience
