Job Duties & Responsibilities Preschool/School-Aged Child Care: Supervise and engage the child in interactive play, reading, and early learning activities. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, encouraging healthy eating habits. Take the child to and from school, appointments, and extracurricular activities. Organize outdoor play, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate games. Assist with homework, developing independent study habits. Instruct the child in personal hygiene, self-care, and social development. Provide emotional support and positive discipline according to parental guidelines. Household & Family Support: Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment for the children. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying play areas, and cleaning up after meals. Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens. Shop for groceries and household supplies as needed. Accompany the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and light housekeeping tasks. At least 5 years of relevant child care experience (infant and preschool care preferred). First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to provide a clear criminal record check. Strong understanding of child development and safety practices Work Conditions & Physical Demands Live-out position (live-in accommodation may be available if required). Active role requiring lifting, bending, and physical engagement with young children. Some evening or weekend work may be required. Willingness to travel with the family on occasion.
