Our family is looking for a Family Care Assistant to help with both childcare and household duties. We have 5 children, 3 of whom are homeschooled and 2 who are toddlers (ages 3 and 1). Here are the details of what we are requiring: SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 12:45 PM - 5:15 PM (4.5 hours per day) Friday: 7:45 AM - 1:45 PM (6 hours per day) This is a total of 24 hours per week PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Childcare (70% of role): Provide engaging care for five children: 3 school-aged children (ages 8, 6 and 4) and two toddlers (ages 3 and 1) Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences Oversee learning activities for school-aged children Manage nap time routines Prepare and serve healthy snacks Maintain child safety at all times Take children on outdoor adventures when weather permits Read stories and facilitate educational play Support hygiene routines as needed Household Management (30% of role): Daily Tasks: Tidy playroom and living areas after activities Clean kitchen after snack preparation Maintain organization of toys and play areas Switch and fold laundry during quiet time Weekly Cleaning Schedule (during quiet time - 1:00 - 2:30 PM): Monday: Clean bathrooms Tuesday: Vacuum and mop floors Wednesday: Dust and wipe surfaces Thursday: Catch-up on laundry folding Friday: Clean kitchen and catch up on weekly tasks We look forward to meeting with you!
