My wife and I are both working professionals and we have one daughter (3 years old in November) with a 6 month old. The 3 year old is in full-time pre-school (walking distance). We are looking for a full-time live-in Nanny who will be able to watch our children, play with them, engage in educational activities with them, do some light cleaning/laundry, and some simple cooking. It would be helpful if our nanny could travel with our family for 2-4 weeks per year. We prefer nannies who have a background in education (e.g. former teacher) or advanced degree. CPR is required, however, that can be completed after being hired and we can help with that. We prefer a live-in nanny, who will have their own room (on a separate floor), there is a separate kitchen and bathroom on that floor as well. We are looking for a nanny who can be with us a minimum of 1 year but ideally someone who is looking for a longer-term contract (3+ years). We require support for 50 hours per week as we are both professionals and our schedules are variable so it could fluctuate week to week but generally will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm. There may be opportunity for overtime as well Our daughters are our number one priority, so we are looking for a nanny who can become part of the family, help our daughters learn and grow, and above all keep them safe. We are looking for someone to start any time between now and mid November.
