Home Child Care Provider (Nanny) Location: North Vancouver, BC V7P 2A7 Workplace information: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 hourly (to be negotiated) Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 Job duties: Supervise and care for child in employer’s private residence Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks Assist with daily routines including dressing, hygiene, and meals Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment Support child’s emotional well-being and development Organize activities such as games, reading, and outdoor play Follow parents’ instructions and established routines Perform light housekeeping duties related to childcare Employment requirements: Secondary school completion required Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Previous childcare experience required Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional, or developmental needs is a strong asset Demonstrated patience, empathy, and strong caregiving skills Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently English language ability required Work setting: Employer’s private residence Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis
