We are a warm, mixed race family looking for a caring and reliable babysitter to care for our two children — an energetic 4-year-old girl and a curious 1-year-old boy. Key Responsibilities: Engage the children in age-appropriate, creative play and activities (reading, drawing, pretend play, etc.) Take the children to the local playground or outdoor outings, ensuring safety and attentiveness, especially when managing both kids Prepare and serve simple snacks or meals as needed Support daily routines with calm, respectful, and patient communication Tidy up play areas and materials used during the day What We’re Looking For: Proficient in English; French is a strong bonus Experience with toddlers and preschool-aged children Comfort and confidence handling two young children simultaneously, especially outdoors Familiarity with or openness to gentle/respectful parenting approaches Creative, energetic, and nurturing personality Bonus if you have skills or interests in music, art, or storytelling Requirements: 2+ years of relevant childcare experience (or equivalent) CPR/First Aid certification is a bonus Non-smoker References available upon request If you're passionate about early childhood development and love spending time with kids in a positive, play-based environment, we’d love to hear from you!
