I am the father of two adorable but energetic boys, aged 6 and 8. They enjoy activities such as biking, playing with Legos, swimming, visiting the library, and having stories read to them or reading by themselves in the case of the oldest. Their first language is French, but they have a good understanding of English. I work in the film production industry, hence my hours can sometimes be atypical. There are times when I might have to leave home at 5 am and only return at midnight. While such extremes are rare, I would ideally need you to come in the morning, prepare the children for school, help pack their lunches, and escort them there - the school is a 12-minute walk away. In the afternoon, your responsibilities would include picking them up from school, assisting with homework and dinner, enforcing their bathing and teeth-brushing routine, and finally, putting them to bed after reading them a story. My schedule is occasionally consistent with regular work hours, during which I may only need after-school assistance sporadically or require traditional babysitting for a night out. I am able to determine my filming days two to three weeks in advance, which I will communicate to you accordingly. Some months may require assistance on several consecutive days, twice or thrice within the month. Other months may be much quieter due to the freelance nature of my work. Any question you may have is welcomed and in order to get you acquainted with the children and the house we could arrange for a trial run after school / summer camp (paid of course) Also you must be comfortable with dogs since my partner and I have an aging dog who is very friendly but will leave you alone after the initial hello.
