We are a young family with 3 kids (8, 6 and soon to be 2 years old). We recently acquired a farm in Noyan (next to Lacolle, Qc) and now we are in between Montreal and the farm on a weekly basis. These past years I have been on extended maternity leave taking care of my children but now with this new business, I need help! Our 2 older children are very independent and require very little care. My youngest, a lively, smart, witty, soon to be 2 years old will need care while I work.. and will surely win your heart! I am looking for a kind, autonomous and resourceful person to take care of my toddler, my family and my home while I work. No specific language requirements, a good spoken French or English or Spanish or Arabic would be great.
A quick description of the tasks: playing with and keeping toddler stimulated (educational game, physical activities, going outdoors), preparing meals for the family, some housekeeping (family laundry, tidying, some organizing and occasional deep cleaning (cupboards, drawers fridge etc...) OR full house cleaning also possible for more hours.
You are required to work at least on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the farm for a total of 24 to 30 hours. We usually head back to Montreal the rest of the week.
A little bit about the farm; it is located 45 minutes south of Montreal. We grow tropical plants year round and our home sits on 3 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. It is a beautiful piece of paradise where possibilities of outdoor fun are endless.
Sleeping arrangements and options:
Option A - part time sleep-in :
Going with us to the farm for around 3 nights during weekdays and coming back to your home in Montreal area on the weekend (while checking in for a few hours of work during the weekend). 30 to 40 hours a week. more hours also possible.
Option B: full time sleep-in. around 40 hours a week. more hours also possible
Option C: Live-out. checking in to work at the farm at least on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. 20-30 hours a week. more hours also possible.
Working for our family would be like coming home, we welcome you with big arms.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for any questions.
