Job Description: We are a warm and organized family in Outremont looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced bilingual (French & English) caregiver to support both childcare and housekeeping on a long-term basis. ⚠️ Important: Candidates must be able to provide a Relevé 24 (RL-24) for tax purposes. This is a mandatory requirement for this position. 👶 Childcare Responsibilities: - Care for our son Winston (currently 8 months old) - Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (10–12 hours/week) - Provide 3–4 hours of engaging, educational playtime - Prepare and assist with lunchtime routine - Follow a Montessori-inspired approach (experience is a strong asset) - Create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment We are looking for someone who will become a long-term presence in Winston’s life, as we expect our needs to grow over time. Additional: Availability for occasional evening and weekend babysitting (scheduled in advance) is a strong asset. 🏡 Housekeeping Responsibilities: - Approximately 5 hours per week - Tasks include: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning, and changing bed sheets Weekly cleaning of : - 2 bedrooms - Open-concept living & dining area - Kitchen - Bathroom - Laundry room - Entryway & staircase Monthly deep cleaning of: - Full bathroom (including shower/tub) - Kitchen (including appliances) We provide all cleaning supplies and are happy to purchase specific products you prefer. ✅ Requirements: - Ability to provide Relevé 24 (mandatory) - Fluent in French and English - Diploma in childcare or related field - Valid CPR certification - Strong references - Organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented - Experience with infants (Montessori knowledge is an asset) 💛 What We’re Looking For: Someone caring, professional, and proactive who takes pride in both childcare and maintaining a clean, welcoming home.
