Hello! I'm seeking a caring, reliable, and responsible part-time nanny for my two young children, aged 1-2 years and 3-5 years, in Almonte, Ontario. This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, possesses excellent communication skills, and is adept at creating a safe, positive environment for them. Your responsibilities would primarily include general supervision and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities. You'd be expected to prepare light meals or snacks for the kids, whilst maintaining a safe and tidy play environment. Light housekeeping duties related to childcare would also be part of your role such as keeping the kitchen clean and tidy. The work schedule would be less than 20 hours per week, ideally on Tuesdays and Thursdays, covering mornings, afternoons, and evenings. The start date for this position would be immediately. Being a driver is a plus as there's a possibility that a family car can be provided for use whilst on the job. While this is a live-out role, we are offering competitive pay of up to $25 per hour. Negotiable based on experience. To qualify for this role, you need to have previous experience working with children in a formal or informal setting. You should be warm, patient, and dependable and possess the ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment. CPR/First Aid certification would be considered an asset and references will be needed upon request.
