We need a babysitter to come to our home and look after our two boys, aged 11 and 8. They are friendly and pleasant boys who do not require specialized care or expertise. We recently lost our long-time sitter because she had to leave to attend university. We are looking for someone who is available on weekdays from 6pm to 9pm. Though it's not necessary for you to drive, the ability to do so would be beneficial. This would be an ideal position for someone who has free time in the evenings and is seeking a part-time job. We do not have any pets.

Looking for a dedicated, caring and experienced part-time sitter to join our family in Etobicoke during weekday evenings and alternate Saturdays. We are a family of four, with two children aged 6 and 10. Our 10-year-old enjoys soccer (and manages mild asthma), and our 6-year-old likes extra snuggles before sleep. Bedtimes are typically between 7:30-8:30pm. The whole family is fully vaccinated, and we don't have any food allergies or pets. As our part-time sitter, your role will focus on child-care duties. This includes assisting our 6-year-old to sleep (7:30-8pm) while I accompany our eldest to soccer practice (6:30-8:20pm). On alternate Saturdays, you would be responsible for both children from 6-10pm so my husband and I may have date night. Light housekeeping duties, such as keeping the kitchen tidy and doing the children's laundry, are also part of the role. Our ideal sitter is not just someone who merely watches over our kids, but someone with the aptitude and initiative to engage and nurture them. We require someone who is fluent in English, a non-smoker, and has already been immunized. Prior experience managing multiple children and cleanup skills are a must. We also require you are able to provide 2 references and provide a recent criminal background check. Although not compulsory, we greatly prefer someone who has a First Aid/CPR qualification. The work schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm, and alternate Saturdays from 6-10pm.
