Looking for loving and energetic nanny for 1 year old boy starting August-September, 2024 - Sherwood Forest, Mississauga (near Clarkson Go Station). We are a family of 3 (mom, dad and 11 month old boy) with one very sweet Sheltie dog. Work details: - Full time, live-out nanny Mon - Fri - $20-22/hr experience depending (payroll) direct deposit - Health insurance + dental - 2 weeks paid time off, one week to be coordinated with our vacation, one week to use at your discretion - Statutory paid holidays - Sometimes we may ask to stay later, flexible scheduling would be appreciated Personal qualities that are important to us: - Conversational English - Understanding boundaries and strictly following parents guidelines without hesitation - Love and responsibility towards children, the ability to play with them - Sincerity and positivity - Preferably a nanny-teacher or nanny-medik - Cleanliness, punctuality and consistency in work are important - Have the experience of preparing healthy food for a child - Understanding the psychological and emotional characteristics of the development of babies from 0 to 3 years - Licensed and insured driver would be a plus Responsibilities: - Day-to-day basic care of the baby (diapering, feeding, bathing etc.) He does not have any special needs, allergies, or major medical conditions - General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning - Activities as reading, play and outdoor time (walks in the park) - Child's laundry, including putting away clothes - Light cooking, light cleaning (weekly vacuuming is appreciated during nap time) - Child's meal prep (bottle feeding, solids prep: lunch, snacks) - Tidying up of common and play areas, including living room, kitchen, nursery and play rooms (floor cleaning where baby is crawling) -Occasional dog walk near the house -Eventually we might ask to drop off and pick up from day care
