We are a family of five living just near the beautiful Dundas Valley. We are in need of a part-time nanny who can lend a hand with our three young children during certain parts of the week - Monday and Friday afternoons and evenings, as well as Wednesday full day (morning and afternoon). Our family consists of three incredibly fun and inspiring children aged 1, 3 and 8. Our 3 and 8-year-old are away at school/daycare during weekdays and our 1 year old needs full-day care at home. Our 3-year-old is also beginning his exciting potty-training journey and our 1 year old is still in diapers. We'd be delighted if you enjoy the outdoors as much as we do. With a sizable outdoor space, garden, and orchard to explore, we're big advocates of spending lots of time outside. The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to - playing with and caring for the children, helping with school homework, light housekeeping duties, tending to the children's laundry, assisting in preparing children's meals (keeping the kitchen neat and tidy is important to us!), and lastly, helping with the bathing and dressing routines of the little ones. As for the practicalities, you'll be expected to work 20 to 30 hours per week. This position is for a live-out nanny, with no car required for any of the duties associated with the job, but a driver's license would be essential for emergency situations. We envision the starting date for this position to be the 13th of September 2024. We are thrilled to welcome a nurturing and dynamic individual into our home who can act as a positive influence on our children. Experience with potty training would be an advantage!
