Hello everyone. We are looking for a long term part time nanny to work with our family starting as soon as possible. We have a 5 year old who is in school most of the day monday-friday, a 2.5 year old toddler who stays at home and a 4 month old baby. We are a professional couple with busy and erratic schedules and we live in a condo in downtown Halifax. Your responsibilities will include drop off /- pick up our 5 yo with our toddler, caring for our toddler during the day including feeding, taking her to different activities (mostly walking distance but it will be a plus if you can drive and has your own car), light housekeeping such as folding laundry, doing dishes, general tidy up of the condo as well as occasionally taking our small dog out for a walk. You will also need to watch our 4 month old for short periods of time throughout your shift (mainly just holding her, playing with her and changing her diaper). There will be different shifts needed throughout the week and these might change every few months. They will mostly be 7:30am-1pm or 2-7pm 3-4 days per week (about 20 hrs per week) and with the occasional weekend shift (maybe once a month). The work hours can be somewhat flexible.
