We’re a warm and easygoing new family of three with a sweet 3-month-old baby boy. He’s generally a happy and easygoing little one, and we’re looking for someone who can support us with part-time childcare. We’re seeking help approximately once every week or two, ideally for a half-day or afternoon, to give me time to run errands, attend appointments, or catch up on work from home. We are very flexible on which day of the week this happens and are happy to either establish a regular schedule or adapt each week based on your availability. In addition, we’d love to find someone who is also available for occasional evening babysitting so that my husband and I can enjoy a night out from time to time. We’re looking for someone who meets the following criteria: -Over 18 years old -Certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid -Clean criminal record and vulnerable sector check (we’re happy to reimburse the successful candidate for the cost) -Experience caring for newborns/infants -Own reliable transportation (though you will not be required to drive the baby) -Able to provide references We’re hoping to find someone who is kind, attentive, and confident with young babies—someone who will feel like a natural extension of our family’s support system.
