At present, we are in the active process of searching for a dedicated, loving individual who can assist with childcare during typical working hours, from Monday to Friday. The primary responsibilities will revolve around caring for our two young boys, who are 3.5 and 2 years old. Our oldest son is currently enrolled in pre-school, so part of the caregiver's role would involve facilitating his school schedule. This would require driving him to school and picking him up two mornings each week. Our family lives in a home that is highly welcoming towards animals. We have four adorable pets- two playful doodle dogs and two sleepy cats. An asset would be someone who is comfortable and enjoys interacting with our pets. While the main emphasis of this role is certainly centered on ensuring the health, well-being, and overall development of our children, the caregiver would also be encouraged to incorporate lots of outdoor play. We have 4 parks within walking distance of our home which we love visiting. We also encourage frequent ventures out into the neighborhood to visit the local library and parks, and also for them to enjoy those vital playdates with their little friends. In addition, the caregiver would also be responsible for some light housekeeping duties. These duties are not extensive but maintaining a tidy and clean area. So, the caregiver would be responsible for ensuring that the house remains neat and orderly throughout the day. For somebody looking for a slightly shorter work week, we are open to negotiations around this. We understand the need for flexibility and work-life balance and are completely open to arranging a four-day working week if it suits the candidate.
