Job Description We are looking for a childcare provider to take care of our children. Address and Work location: Cote Saint Luc, Quebec, H4V 1A1 Title Private Home Child Care Provider Duties: • Supervise and care for the children at our residence. • Plan and oversee the children’s activities as instructed. • Prepare and serve meals for the children. • Clean and maintain the house as needed. • Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence. • Ensure safety and well-being of our children in our residence. • Organize activities such as games and outings for the children. • Other related tasks. Required Skills • Have completed a secondary school diploma attesting at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education or • have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school OR • 1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer Qualifications: • Be reliable and punctual • Show initiative • Have good judgment • Have excellent organizational skills Live-in Option Available: Option for the Child Care Provider to live in the residence where care is required at no cost. Language Requirement: Knowledge of English (oral) Employment conditions, salary and hours Salary of $19 an hour for 35 hours per week Monday – Friday from 7am - 10 am and 3 pm-7 pm Social Advantages: • 10 days of vacation per year as per Quebec .
