We are on the lookout for a summer nanny who could join our family in the care of our two lively boys, aged 3 and 5. Our elder child is already in school, while the younger one is at daycare, preparing to start school in September. Our boys are full of energy and tremendously enjoy outdoor activities like riding bikes, visiting local splash pads, parks, taking part in early ON programs, etc. Our home has ample area for them to play both indoors and outdoors. We have a spacious playroom in the basement, stacked with an array of toys for their entertainment. The fenced backyard has a climber and walking paths leading to various parks, perfect for children who love to explore. We own a pool, so if you have a lifeguard background or strong swimming skills and are comfortable taking the kids in the pool, it would be really beneficial. However, we understand if you're not comfortable with this. Desirably, we would like you to be comfortable driving the kids to local parks or events. If you are not at ease with this, it's perfectly okay. We will provide the car seats for your vehicle. Your primary duties would include providing snacks and lunch to the children. In terms of housekeeping, we are only looking for you to keep the kitchen tidy after meal preparation, there will be no intensive cleaning or laundry involved. The role requires availability from Tuesday to Thursday (can be flexible but definitely 3 days a week- not Mondays), with a working schedule from 8:30 am to 4 pm. There might be additional hours required on the odd weekend or evening if we have an event planned. This position is framed as a live-out, full-time, or part-time role. Please note, you will be using your own car for this role and should possess a valid driver's license. No pet care is required. While this role is currently set for the summer, it could potentially become a long-term position, with the possibility of extending to an after-school care provider when the school year commences in September. We are ideally looking to start on the 30th of June 2026 and the requirement would be for 20 to 30 hours per week.
